April 25, 2009 “Opening Doors to Homes – A Walk for Affordable Housing” WHAT: On May 9, 2009 Resources for Community Development (RCD) will sponsor a fun easy one-mile walk through the beautiful UC Berkeley campus to raise awareness and funds for much needed affordable housing to the Bay Area. The walk course will pass by the new Oxford Plaza (affordable housing) and David Brower Center (LEED Platinum environmental center), showcasing two exemplary social and environmental solutions brought together in two landmark architectural structures.
