Estimated completion date 2006 Shinsei Gardens consists of a 39-unit supportive housing rental project
serving formerly homeless veterans with special needs. RCD has worked closely
with the Alameda County Housing Authority, Operation Dignity, Alameda Point
Collaborative, and the City of Alameda throughout the development process.
RCD has also work closely with Catellus Development Corporation, who is
developing the surrounding sites. This is one of the two affordable housing
communities RCD is currently developing in the City of Alameda. The second
is the Breakers at Bayport, town home apartments and single-family homes.
