RCD partnered with Jubilee Restoration, Inc. to develop the Margaret Breland Homes project, 28- units of affordable housing for seniors in Berkeley. The units, along with two offices and a community room, surround a common courtyard. The offices accommodate an on-site manager and service coordinator. The first floor features a commercial space with windows facing San Pablo Avenue. The seniors of Margaret Breland Homes receive services from local providers, including assistance with daily living, finances and legal advice, counseling and peer support, health promotion and preventive services, geriatric medical and dental services, and safety and security assistance.
